We are please to announce that from Tuesday 1st September 2009, your direct charge free ATM network will be expanded to include ATMs owned and operated by the NAB.

The combined rediATM and NAB ATM network will be one of the largest in Australia providing more than 3,100 ATMs to approximately 7 million people.

Based on recent usage, bringing together the two networks will save credit union members and NAB customers more than $10 million in ATM direct charges annually.

"For seven million Australians, rediATM means 'direct charging free banking'." Said Cuscals Managing Director, Craig Kennedy. "With even the smallest rediATM participant able to offer a market leading ATM network, we are bolstering competition in retail banking."

"Our cardholders will be smiling all the way to the ATM," said Kennedy.

"The combined NAB and rediATM network will be one of the largest in Australia. ATMs will be found on high streets, in shopping centres and in many rural and regional locations – giving customers 24/7 access to their money, direct charge free."

What it means for Our Members

Fire Brigades Employees' Credit Union members will now be able to transact using the rediATM network, using either rediATMs or NAB ATMs. To assist our members, NAB ATMs will soon feature a rediATM logo, alongside the NAB logo.

Transactions done via the rediATM network will be direct charge free, and will form part of the monthly free ATM transactions Credit Union members currently enjoy. Members should check the current 'Fees & Charges' schedule for up to date fees and charges.

Members using ATMs outside of the rediATM network may still incur a Direct Charge, and will be advised of this charge at the time of the withdrawal.
