Who Can Join

The Fire Brigades Employees' Credit Union offers membership to employees of the NSW Fire Brigades and their families. The eligibility criteria is contained in the Constitution of the Credit Union.

Accounts can only be opened in the names of natural persons as the Credit Union does not allow operation of business accounts.

Memberships in the name of registered Self Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF) are allowed for extisting members.

Member Share

All signatories to an account need to be identified under the Financial Transaction Reports legislation New members must subscribe to one $10.00 Share. If you cease to be a member the Credit Union will refund this Shareholding and return the $10.00.

It is often easier for you to apply for membership if you can call into our office. Our friendly staff can assist you to complete the application forms. However you have the option of mailing your application for membership to our office.
